• Schedule Change Ongoing

  The new Fall/Winter Commuter Rail schedules go into effect on Monday, November 18th with seasonal and on-time performance adjustments. PDF schedules are available online NOW at MBTA.com/cr and will be available in hub stations soon.
  -The ski train will be back on the Fitchburg Line. Wachusett Mountain ski area operates a shuttle between the ski area and Wachusett station during Winter months to connect to these trains which feature a specifically modified coach equipped with racks for ski and snowboard equipment. Update to when the Ski Trains will be in effect will come out soon.
  
  -Holiday service:
  On Thursday, November 28th, 2024 (Thanksgiving Day), Friday, November 29th, 2024 (Day after Thanksgiving), Wednesday, December 25th, 2024 (Christmas Day), Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 (New Year’s Day), and Monday, February 17th, 2025 (President’s Day) all lines will operate on a weekend schedule. On Monday, January 20th, 2025 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day), and Monday, April 21st, 2025 (Patriot’s Day), all lines will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

• Service Change Ongoing

  Effective Monday, Sept 9th & for approximately 7 weeks, the high-level platform on the outbound side of Attleboro station is close for renovation. Please board trains at the north end of the platform. A portable lift will be available on the platform.
  The staircase close to the ramp for access to the inbound platform will be closed at the same time.
  This temporary travel path will allow for work on the platform as part of the Attleboro Renovation Project.
  Plan for extra travel time. Thank you for your understanding.

• Parking Closure Upcoming

  The Canton Junction parking lot will be closed from Nov 24 -25 (overnight from 8 PM to 5 AM) and Nov 26-27 (full day closure) due to construction. Vehicles left in the lot during these times will be relocated or towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.

  The Walpole parking lot will be closed from Dec 3 -4 (overnight from 8 PM to 5 AM) and Dec 5-6 (full day closure) due to construction. Vehicles left in the lot during these times will be relocated or towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.

  South Station Pedal & Park is closed due to construction. Bicycle racks are currently available on Atlantic Ave adjacent to the South Station main entrance. MBTA.com/projects/south-station-transportation-center-improvements

  The door to enter the Forest Hills Pedal and Park is not functioning. We are working to have it addressed as quickly as possible,
