• Schedule Change

  The new Fall/Winter schedule is now in effect on all lines with seasonal and on-time performance adjustments. Schedules are available online at MBTA.com/cr and will be available in hub stations soon.
  -The ski train will be back on the Fitchburg Line. Wachusett Mountain ski area operates a shuttle between the ski area and Wachusett station during Winter months to connect to these trains which feature a specifically modified coach equipped with racks for ski and snowboard equipment. Update to when the Ski Trains will be in effect will come out soon.
  
  -Holiday service:
  On Thursday, November 28th, 2024 (Thanksgiving Day), Friday, November 29th, 2024 (Day after Thanksgiving), Wednesday, December 25th, 2024 (Christmas Day), Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 (New Year’s Day), and Monday, February 17th, 2025 (President’s Day) all lines will operate on a weekend schedule. On Monday, January 20th, 2025 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day), and Monday, April 21st, 2025 (Patriot’s Day), all lines will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

• Service Change Upcoming

  On the weekends of November 23-24, December 7-8, 14-15, and all-day Friday, December 6th, shuttle buses will replace regular train service between Wachusett and North Leominster to allow for signal improvement work.
