• Service Change

  Route 104 has been permanently rerouted to offer service between Malden and Airport Station. From Everett Square, it now goes east to Airport. Riders to Sullivan can use Route 109. Learn more: MBTA.com/104
  

  • Service has increased to every 15 minutes or better every day during service hours as Route 104 has been upgraded to a Frequent Bus Route.
  • Service runs from 4 AM to 1:07 AM weekdays, 4 AM to 1:05 AM Saturdays, and 4 AM to 1 AM Sundays.
  • Route 104 has been rerouted to offer new, crosstown service between Malden and Logan Airport. It follows the existing route from Malden Center to Everett Square. Instead of going south to Sullivan, it goes east to Airport.
  • Riders traveling to stops toward Sullivan beyond Everett Square can transfer to Route 109 at Broadway @ Norwood St. Riders traveling between Sullivan and Everett Sq towards Malden Center can take Route 109 to Broadway @ Everett Sq and transfer to Route 104 towards Malden Center. Route 109 has also been upgraded to a Frequent Bus Route.

• Stop Closure Ongoing

  The Broadway @ Fourth Street stop in Chelsea will be temporarily closed until further notice due to construction. Riders can board buses at Washington Ave @ Broadway.

• Stop Move

  Effective Dec 15, the Ferry St @ Irving St (inbound) stop has moved. For Route 104 service, use the stop at Ferry St & Eastern Ave, or use the new stop at Centre St & Main St located at 209 Centre St.
  Route 104 will no longer go to Sullivan Square. Past Everett Square, Route 104 will go to Airport Station via 2nd St @ Bellingham Square (Chelsea).

  Effective Dec 15, the Main St opp Pleasant St (outbound) stop no longer serves the Rt 104 bus.
  Route 104 will no longer go to Sullivan Square. Instead, Route 104 will go to Airport Station via Everett Square and Bellingham Square. For Route 104 towards Airport, use the new stop at 209 Centre St.
  For service to Malden Center, take Routes 99 or 105 at this stop, or Route 104 from the new stop at 222 Centre St.
