Board Approves 36 Bus Route Updates

Updated on May 29, 2019

The Fiscal and Management Control Board (FMCB) approved a final package of 36 near-term changes to bus service in May 2019. This includes 27 proposals as released in January 2019, and 9 with modifications. Changes will provide more frequent and reliable service, and a small number of new connections across 50 existing bus routes. The FMCB also approved 45 additional bus operators to increase off-peak service on some of the busiest routes.

Changes will be implemented in late 2019 and early 2020, with a few additional changes going into effect later, dependent on coordination with outside public and private entities.
