Changes to Bus Route 120

How This Route is Changing
Route 120 will no longer stop at Liberty Plaza in East Boston. The route will begin and end at Jeffries Point on Maverick St (opposite 345 Maverick St), instead of at Maverick Station.

What You Can Expect
If you take Route 120...
- To or from Border St @ Liberty Plaza:
- For service to Maverick, Jeffries Point, or Orient Heights, take the 120 from Bennington St @ Porter St
- For service to Maverick and Jeffries Point, take the 120 from Meridian St @ Liverpool St
- To or from Jeffries Point:
- For service to Jeffries Point, exit the 120 along Sumner St and walk, or wait for outbound service to start for other Maverick St stops
- For service to Orient Heights, board on Maverick St. Or, or take the 120 toward Jeffries point (inbound) from Sumner St, and wait for outbound service to start.

By straightening and simplifying Route 120, we’re able to provide more reliable service in East Boston.
