CharlieCard and CharlieTicket Online Services
Online services are available for certain modes and fare media types. Check back soon as we continue to improve these services and make them more accessible to all riders.
MyCharlie for CharlieCards
As of November 15, 2023, the existing MyCharlie site has been permanently retired and replaced with an updated version that is more accessible and easier to use.
The new MyCharlie site lets you manage your CharlieCards, protect your balance, and sign up for Auto-pay—all in one place.
Register your CharlieCards and give them nicknames to help you stay organized. You’ll be able to see which cards are signed up for Auto-pay or reduced fares.
Register your card to protect your balance against loss, theft, or damage. If you request a replacement, we’ll transfer your balance to the new card. For expired cards, please visit the Charlie Service Center.
Currently, there is no way to check your CharlieCard balance online. To check your balance, visit the nearest fare vending machine.
See a list of all available Auto-pay passes so you can quickly choose the one that’s best for you, then sign up with just a few clicks.
Note: If you're an existing Auto-pay subscriber, please continue to manage your subscription through the billing portal while we migrate your information to the new MyCharlie.
If you're between the ages of 18 – 64 and are enrolled in an approved state assistance program, you may qualify for income-eligible reduced fares.
You can learn more and apply for income-eligible reduced fares on MyCharlie. You’ll be prompted to sign up for an account if you don’t already have one.
If you previously had a MyCharlie account, we’ve already imported all your information—all you have to do is sign up for an MBTA account using the same email address you used for MyCharlie.
Otherwise, you can create a new account to get started.
