Community Workshop | Blue Hill Avenue Transportation Action Plan (In-Person)

Meeting Info

Date: December 7, 2024 at 11 AM - 1 PM

Location: Mattapan Station Community Room • 500 River St • Boston, MA

Attendees: Open to everyone

Event Description

The MBTA and City of Boston are working together to redesign Blue Hill Avenue between Warren Street in Grove Hall and River Street in Mattapan Square. We're focused on making Blue Hill Avenue safer, more accessible, and more connected for everyone.

Join us for a community workshop with local organizations to provide your input on the project. In this workshop, you can:

  • Review and discuss two proposed design options for new bus boarding platforms in Mattapan
  • Provide feedback on options for parking, crosswalks, and other key design elements
  • If the weather allows, walk with the project team to nearby locations in Mattapan Square to identify community concerns and visualize the proposed designs in context

Your feedback will help improve the project's draft concept design and create a sustainable community plan for transportation on Blue Hill Avenue.
