Public Meeting | Green Line Train Protection and Track Upgrades (Virtual)

Event Description

As a part of Capital Transformation, please join the Green Line Transformation team to learn about the wayside installation schedule for the Green Line Train Protection System (GLTPS) and over 10,000 feet of track rehabilitation on the B, C, D, and E branches.

• GLTPS combines vehicle and wayside equipment to avoid train-on-train collisions, add red-light signal protection, and incorporate speed enforcement.
• Track renewal provides safer, more comfortable, and more reliable service for riders.

The use of full access closures on this critical safety project allows for the accelerated completion of both GLTPS and track renewal.
